Online IFS Therapy for English Speakers in Sweden

Living abroad can be exciting and full of growth — but it also brings unique challenges. You might be navigating cultural differences, feeling isolated from familiar support systems, or finding it difficult to explain your experiences in a new context.

Big life changes like moving to another country often stir up older emotional patterns — challenges you thought were behind you can resurface with new intensity when your foundation shifts.

At the same time, living in a different country can raise deep questions about identity: Who am I now? What is my relationship to my own culture, my past, and this new environment?

These questions are natural — but they can also feel unsettling or lonely to hold on your own.

I offer online Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy for sensitive, deep-thinking, and neurodivergent adults living in Sweden, providing a grounded, compassionate space where every part of you is welcome.

IFS therapy offers a gentle, structured way to work with the different parts of yourself — the ones that protect you, the ones that carry old pain, and the ones that still hold your hopes and dreams. Rather than forcing change, we focus on understanding, healing, and building deeper internal trust. Learn more about how Internal Family Systems therapy works here.

Sessions are held online, making it easy to access therapy wherever you live in Sweden.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, self-doubt, identity questions, relationship challenges, or simply seeking deeper self-connection, IFS therapy can offer a steady path forward.

My Journey Living Abroad

Having moved away from Finland in my early twenties and lived in the UK, France, South Africa, and now Sweden, I know what it’s like to start over in a new culture and language. I've also spent a lot of time working and traveling across East and West Africa, experiences that deepened my understanding of how place, belonging, and identity shape us.

These journeys taught me that moving abroad isn’t just about adapting to a new environment — it can also stir up old emotions, challenge your sense of self, and open up new questions about who you are and where you feel at home.

In our work together, I hold these experiences close, creating a space where all parts of your story are welcome.

If you feel drawn to explore this work, I’d love to meet you for a free consultation.
